Our client went from $1-2M a year to $1M in a single month.

They built their marketing foundation first. Website, Google page, LSA, reviews. All locked in before the storm hit.

But here's the thing: building the foundation isn't enough. You need people to know you exist.

That's why Episode 6 dives into what contractors are actually doing to go viral. Millions of views. Millions of leads. How it's done. Save your seat and bring your team.

Some contractor videos hit millions of views while others posting almost identical work get ignored completely.

Elizabeth Holguin breaks down why in Episode 6 of the Roofing Leadership Lab, live this Thursday, September 3rd at 2:00 PM ET.

They got hit with a storm. Now their roof is compromised. And they're scared.

This isn't a sales opportunity. This is someone in crisis mode who needs to trust
you.

The old playbook doesn't work anymore. Homeowners are educated now. They've seen
contractors scam people after storms.

So when you show up, you're not there to pitch. You're there to guide. To educate.
To build credibility.

But here's what we didn't cover: what you actually SAY in that moment.

Retail customers and storm customers think different. Buy different. Close
different.

Your sales reps probably don't know the difference.

Episode 5 breaks down how to build both sales processes without splitting your
team. How to train reps for retail. How to train them for storm. What to coach
every single week.

And how to do it in 14 days.

Ask yourself these five questions every single week.

What should I invest more in? Which lead source am I actually losing money on?
Where is my biggest bottleneck? Which lead source made us the most money? And
what action am I going to complete before next week's meeting?

Most contractors skip this. That's why they waste money.

Here's the framework that separates contractors who scale from ones who plateau.

Scale: If a channel is working and producing revenue, increase investment.

Improve: Don't just cut. First, try to fix it. Retrain your sales reps. Increase
follow-up speed. Check lead quality. Confirm appointments better. Give it time to
work.

Cut: If you've already tried to improve and nothing changes, cut it.

But here's where contractors lose money. Chasing the cheapest lead. Measuring
clicks instead of revenue. Cutting channels too fast without giving them 30-60
days to mature. And ignoring close rates by source.

The cheapest lead isn't always the best lead. Revenue is.

This is exactly what we're covering in Episode 4.

Should you invest in Google ads or SEO? Local service ads or organic search?

The wrong answer is picking one.

Most contractors ask me this constantly. They want to know where to put their
money to get the most leads fastest. And the truth is, if you need leads now,
Google ads and local service ads will get you results immediately.

But if you want to bring your cost per lead down over time and stop being
dependent on paid ads, you need SEO.

Here's the real strategy the biggest roofing companies use: they don't choose.
They run both at the same time.

Pay for leads now while you build organic search in the background. By the time
your organic kicks in, you've already got consistent lead flow. And now you're
not betting everything on one channel.

This takes strategy though. And most contractors waste money because they don't
have a plan.

That's why I put together the Roofer's Guide to Google. It breaks down exactly
how to run paid and organic together so you're getting leads consistently without
overspending.

Get it free. I'll send it right over.

Someone just searched "roofer near me" on Google.

They don't have a company in mind. They're looking for one. And when they search,
either you show up or your competitor does.

If it's not you, you just lost that job.

Think about that. Every search is a customer ready to hire. Every search where
you don't show up is money going to the guy next to you.

The question isn't whether Google matters. It's what are you losing by not being
visible.

If $5 million roofing companies are using a system to stay discoverable on Google,
maybe you should know what that system is.

DM me. I'll send you the roofing guide to Google. It's free. And it'll show you
exactly what you're missing.

Your Google ads warm up leads. Your Facebook ads convert them.

For two months, everything looks fine. Then month three hits.

Leads stop. Deals stop. Pipeline dries up.

By the time you notice, you’ve lost tens of thousands in jobs.

Here’s the trap: you’re running two channels that work TOGETHER, but tracking
separately. You killed your top-of-funnel without knowing it.

That’s the 60-90 day blind spot most roofing companies never see coming.

If you can’t pull a report showing leads + cost per lead + revenue by channel,
your tracking has gaps.

And gaps cost money.

📩 DM us. We’ll audit your tracking and show you exactly where you’re losing money.

You walked into an inspection. Found no business to be had. Left with nothing.

Most contractors see that as a lost hour.

Smart ones see it as a lost opportunity.

Because you just spent an hour with someone. You already made an impression. You
showed up, you inspected, you're professional. That's the perfect moment to ask
for a review.

But most contractors only ask for reviews from people they sold to.

That's leaving growth on the table.

Every interaction is a chance to build your reputation. Even the ones that don't
turn into sales. Especially those ones.

Be selective about which customers you chase. Then ask everyone else to vouch
for you.

That's how you stop competing on price and start winning on trust.

Insurance calls do not stay at storm-season levels forever. As the months pass after a hailstorm, claim volume drops and many roofing companies start spending more on ads to keep the lead board full.

Meanwhile, homeowners with aging roofs are still deciding whether to repair or replace them. They may spend months researching before they ask a roofing company for an estimate.

Larger roofing companies reach those homeowners earlier and give them more reasons to call.

On August 6 at 2 PM ET, we’ll break down how insurance and retail roofing require different marketing. Save your seat at the link in bio.

One Google suspension. 30 days. Your whole company is shut down.

If all your leads come from one source, you're not diversified. You're vulnerable.

At $25 million plus, you need multiple revenue streams. Multiple territories.
Multiple channels. You need to know your brand value when people see your truck
on the street.

What happens if one channel drops 50% tomorrow? Can you survive it?
