The newest collection from .shop, Wetland, which we launched last month. ⁣
⁣
We love using Mock Reality as a landing place for rejected or unexplored concepts from our day to day work. In early 2021, we made the infamous ~bog~ for a client shoot, and once we shot the product in the scene, we knew we had to get some extra use out of the absolutely crazy set we had built. The client only made one select from the bog scene (RIP lol), and we ended up sitting on the wetland assets for over a year before getting around to retouching and making the collection. So it goes with a side project!! ⁣

Anyway, we think these mockups would be amazing for a natural skincare brand or anything else a little fairy-forest or ethereal.⁣

Succinctly, we wanted to create a mark that encapsulated a strategic yet creative point of view. Studio HMVD has only had a wordmark up until this point, so this is certainly a big move, but the eyeball just “clicked” from the moment we made it. ⁣
