I'M SORRY, WHAT NOW?!
We were LITERALLY just there! You were STANDING in the store! I ASKED you! Multiple times! And you said NO!
But now... NOW that we're home, shoes off, groceries half put away, and I've mentally clocked out for the day... suddenly your memory decides to show up for work?!
The Walmart receipt is still in my pocket. It's still got that fresh off the printer warmth. And you're telling me we need to go BACK?
I don't ask for much in this life, but can someone PLEASE explain to me why kids' brains don't activate until AFTER we leave the store? Is it a conspiracy? Is Walmart in on this?
At this point I might as well just add "professional Walmart chauffeur" to my resume next to running my actual business 😭
Tell me I'm not the only one living this loop. If your kid does this too, comment EVERY TIME so I know I'm not losing my mind over here!

I will always try my best to be there.
Even when the ER feels like controlled chaos and my nervous system is running on muscle memory.
This job taught me how to function in rooms that are falling apart.
It did not teach me how to build a life that does not require constant survival.
That realization changed everything.
Theo Von called someone “The Wizard” and it hit different.
Not the joke, the truth behind it.
The people who win are not louder.
They do not do more.
They pick one problem and go deeper than everyone else.
Resilience has an expiration date.
Loving your work should not mean slowly losing your life.
I started building something on the side not because I stopped caring
but because I finally cared about my own life as much as I care about everyone else’s.
