Yesterday I faced a goal that I set 5 months ago, but it was a challenge to get there and I enjoyed every minute of it.

The summer heat was no joke. My diabetes constantly fought my blood sugars during training. Life routines often took priority to the run schedule. Hundreds of miles on the same concrete yet staying motivated to go one more.

I wouldn’t say I “love” running. In fact, I have to talk myself into doing most of the miles. But nothing really beats the personal feeling you get after you finish a run either. Whether it’s 3 miles or 13 miles, you did something hard.
Now time for the road to 1hr 30mins!

I couldn’t have spent the time training I did without your full support and motivation. I love you!
