When I started my first business, I thought I needed to fit into some mold. I bought books on creating the proper invoice. I tried to make all my marketing look proper and polished. I created scripts that I thought were structured and professional.
It was exhausting and stressful because I didn't know if I was doing it right. And it all seems sooo boring!
After about a year, I had a revelation. My business didn't represent me! I felt like a fraud and I was so incredibly stressed about everything, even though I was great at what I was offering to other businesses.
At that moment, I decided to give up! Give up trying to be something that I wasn't. I've never been one to fit into a mold or to follow the rules 🤫
From that moment forward, I followed my intuition and modeled my business after my own heart.
