🆕 An international law firm seeks an experienced Conflicts Attorney to be based in Chicago.

At least 3️⃣years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney and a J.D., with Bar licensure in either CA, IL, DC or NY are required.

📍This role will be primarily remote but requires occasional on-site presence in the office in downtown Chicago.

The Attorney identifies, analyzes, and resolves potential conflicts of interest related to the Firm’s new business intake and lateral hiring for all Firm offices. This position ensures new matters and attorney hires are compliant with the Firm’s conflicts and risk management policies and procedures.

The Conflicts Attorney works with a team under minimal supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Requirements:

➡️ Juris Doctorate (JD)
➡️ Licensed in CA, IL, DC or NY (reporting to Chicago office remotely and on-site)
➡️ At least three (3) years of Conflicts Attorney work experience
➡️ Ability to supervise work of Conflicts Analysts as needed
➡️ Knowledge of conflicts of interest software databases
➡️ Experience with document management/retention software
➡️ Knowledge of enterprise accounting systems helpful
➡️ Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
