Apparently "marketing" means about 5138 different things these days.

So here's what I actually do before someone asks if I can also fix the office printer...

✨ I build brands people remember.
🌐 I create websites that don't look like they were made in 2012.
📣 I design marketing that gets attention instead of getting politely ignored.

Basically, I make businesses look like they know exactly what they're doing... even if they're currently holding everything together with coffee, Google Docs, and pure determination.

Community is one of the best parts of what I do.

Today I had the opportunity to attend the ribbon cutting for Grow With Us Learning Academy alongside the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce. It was exciting to celebrate a business that's investing in children, educators, and families while officially opening its doors.

It was also a milestone day for the Chamber as Paul Singleton celebrated his 2,000th ribbon cutting. Think about that for a second... 2,000 businesses, nonprofits, expansions, and dreams he's helped celebrate throughout our community. That's an incredible legacy.

Another highlight was catching up with my good friend Ryan, owner of Task Force Pizza. Fun fact: Task Force Pizza was the very first brand I was trusted to build over three years ago, and seeing it continue to grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Days like today remind me why I started Kind & Clever.

Marketing isn't just about logos, websites, or social media.

It's about showing up. Building relationships. Becoming part of the communities you're serving. Because the best marketing doesn't start with an ad.

It starts with people.

I'm looking forward to what the future holds and to continuing conversations with businesses that are making a real impact right here in Northwest Florida.

Here's to community, meaningful work, and helping good businesses become impossible to ignore.

P.S. Caleb still refuses to cooperate for photos... but at least he's consistent.

"What do you actually do?"

Honestly, fair question.

I don't just build websites.
I don't just design logos.
I don't just create social media content.

I help businesses communicate what they do in a way that makes people pay attention, trust them, and take action.

Sometimes that means a brand refresh.
Sometimes it's a website.
Sometimes it's fixing messaging that's been confusing customers for years.

The goal is always the same:

Make it easier for the right people to find you, understand you, and choose you.

2026 dating rules apply to your marketing too:

Looking good is not enough.

Clear communication. Consistency. Transparency. Actually answering questions.

That is the bare minimum now.

Google and AI are not recommending the business version of a situationship.

They want substance, structure, and proof you know what you’re talking about.

So yes, use AI.
But do not let it bleach all the personality out of your brand.

Nobody falls in love with generic.

And Google is not impressed by your emotionally unavailable website either.
