🚨 Heads up, business owners: Google just added "back button hijacking" to its spam policy, and enforcement started June 15.

Translation: if someone clicks "back" on your website and gets stuck in a loop or sent to a random ad page instead of leaving, Google may now treat that as spam — and it can hurt where you show up in search.

The sneaky part is most owners didn't build this behavior on purpose. It usually comes from old ad scripts, exit-intent popups, or affiliate/recommendation plugins running in the background.

Quick test you can do right now: open your site in an incognito window, browse a few pages, then click "back." You should land on the previous page in one click. No loops. No surprises.
