Kyle here with a pro tip for getting more work as a new business owner. The most important thing to do as soon as you're ready to take on work is creating a google business listing. Those are the little boxes that pop up when you search for a service. They have business's website, testimonials, directions, etc.
I say it's the most important because it acts like the new yellow pages. More people are finding who they want to contact there rather than search results now. I've worked with a lot of people starting a business and this is THE SINGLE THING i've seen have more of an impact than anything else when it comes to getting more work. Plus it's totally free!
So go out there, create your listing, bug the people you've done work for to leave you a tesimonial, add some pictures, and start getting more work. (Or have me set it up, my prices are quite reasonable lol :))
