Friends, I am writing today to share some news. I have closed my Etsy shop for good.

It's not exactly a secret that I have viewed Etsy as a "necessary evil," and it is one that I have a fair amount of disdain for. Last week, when they sent me a notice that one of my original designs, (one that I have sold for over a decade) was being removed for violating some term of service (for which they provided NO information), I knew it was time. Oh, and incidentally, this design was previously featured BY ETSY in a digital mailing as a holiday bestseller.

So, there it is. Am I done with design? Nope. Just done with Etsy.

I will still be doing Artomat, my other other online marketplaces, and any other fun and shiny thing that captures my fancy. I am far too caffeinated, and far to ornery to sit still for too long.

I am going to take a bit of time away to regroup, and then move all of my existing designs to my own site.

Thank you all for being the absolute best supporters, friends and customers that any girl could ever have. Life often gives us detours, and I look forward to see where this one goes.

It's been a minute since I last updated everyone on things. My mom's passing hit me a lot harder than I expected. Loss is a strange thing, and for me - it really shut me down altogether.

I apologize. I feel like I have let a lot of folks down, including myself.

At any rate, as we head into my favorite time of year, I am starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Let's hope it's not an oncoming train, shall we? ;)

I have renewed a bunch of listings over at Etsy, and am slowly designing more things. For the next month, I am offering 30% off your entire purchase of $24 or more. I haven't raised any prices in a long time, and Etsy seems to get more greedy all the time. Due to this, I don't expect I will have thousands of listings any longer. More on those changes later.

I know things have been quiet over here. It has been a rough couple of months, but I am hopeful that the summer temps will bring better days and creativity with them!

Just thought I would share some new journal ephemera dangles I created for ArtOMat. I started designing for them late last year, and I am really enjoying it.

These pieces were so much fun to make. I am working on another bunch, and will be posting those for sale over on WhatNot soon.
