One Lucky Guitar

One Lucky Guitar We Communicate Brand Soul. We’re a boutique creative agency founded in 2000 and located in downtown Fort Wayne.

OLG started as a ‘design shop’ (often for music & arts clients), but these days we provide comprehensive services that range from branding and internal marketing to TV spots and social strategies. We love our community and work hard to support its artistic, cultural & economic growth.

Place branding is about expressing inimitable spirit and personality. Our team is made up of place-lovers who know how to bring that feeling to life.

👉 Our work is authentic.
The only thing “unbelievable” about this work is how purely, credibly and accurately it captures the essence of your place.

👉 Our work is consensus-driven.
Whether a public space, a district or a private development, this work happens with, not to, its stakeholders.

👉 Our work is growth-oriented.
We take the long view—creating robust systems that ensure the brand’s integrity is built to last.

Place branding is ultimately about communicating brand soul. When done well, it helps communities see themselves more clearly and invites others to experience a place in a deeper, more human way.

Some OLG'ers attended the fourth annual Stillwater Hospice Water Lily Women's Luncheon on May 13. This all-women’s luncheon helps raise funding for and awareness of Stillwater Hospice’s palliative, hospice and grief support programs, while recognizing the important role that women play as caregivers, employees and advocates.

Thank you, Stillwater Hospice, for the work you do to provide compassion, comfort and guidance through life's journey.

As a participating employer for the Women's Fund of Greater Fort Wayne's Take a Girl to Work Day on May 6, we hosted seven sixth grade girls to show them a day in the life at One Lucky Guitar. We shared our various career paths and leadership opportunities with the girls. Activities included having each student fill out a Personal Brand Placemat, which they decorated and personalized to reflect their interests, goals and more.

Today, April 28, marks the 15-year anniversary of our partnership with Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities on the launch of their logo and "Creating Possibilities" Brand Platform.

Turnstone is northeast Indiana’s only free-standing not-for-profit organization providing a comprehensive continuum of supportive services addressing the unique needs of people with disabilities and their families.

Our work with the organization began with our Soul Sessions Workshops—one of our first partners to receive this OLG signature service! These sessions brought together the organization's diverse voices to begin building a brand worthy of this community asset. Together, we crafted "Creating Possibilities," which speaks to their ongoing work to help their clients thrive—through rehabilitation programs, their world-renowned athletics and more.

We’re grateful to have partnered with Turnstone on work that continues to perform and provide enduring value 15 years later, and proud to see how the idea of creating possibilities still moves forward every day.

OLG founder Matt Kelley adds, “Since this brand launch, we’ve been entrusted with dozens of deeply meaningful projects and initiatives with Turnstone; this work continues to drive OLG’s soul. Back in 2011, Bridget [Account Manager] and I served as account strategists for this work, and Jake [Senior Art Director] worked on the athletics branding. I’d also like to thank former OLG Art Director and Soul Session compatriot Drew Kora for his excellent work, our clients Nancy Louraine and Jen Neher for the guidance and inspiration, and our friend Denise DeMarchis for the most beautiful letter of recommendation I ever read.”

We recently partnered with the Don Wood Foundation for the "Get In on Next-Gen" event held on April 21. The special event was a chance to bring the Foundation's grantee partners, next-gen manufacturing partners, local business leaders, peer funders and internal stakeholders together to celebrate the Foundation's legacy—and what’s next for advanced manufacturing in our region.

At the event, the Foundation launched the Forward Together Blueprint—a bold plan to radically lead the development and growth of the next-generation manufacturing workforce in northeast Indiana.

OLG provided consultation services for the event. We developed the Forward Together Blueprint strategic plan theme, positioning and a messaging strategy. We also developed the "Get In on Next-Gen" event theme and positioning.

The result: a clear, compelling moment that reflected on the Foundation's history and achievements while boldly pointing toward the future of the next-gen manufacturing workforce.

Thank you to the Don Wood Foundation for trusting us with such meaningful work—and for your continued investment in innovation across our region.
