DIY-ing your brand sometimes feels like constantly picking up a bad pen to write with. Why. Will the pen. Not. Write?! You pick it up and expect it to serve its purpose, which is putting the ink on your paper, but instead you’re spending more time trying to get it to work than you are actually writing down your to-do list. It’s annoying, frustrating, and definitely a waste of time.
Now I hate bullying people into believing they need a brand design to be successful - truth is, sometimes you don’t. Here are some examples:
A. You’re just starting out and aren’t ready for the financial investment.
B. So far you’ve successfully grown your business with your current brand and don’t feel passionate about investing in a new one
C. You’re a small business without a vision for future growth
All businesses are different. Different growth paths, needs, and passions, and that’s what I love about the world of entrepreneurship. We become business owners to mesh together our desire to make money, doing something we love, in a lifestyle that fulfills us. The combination of all those things for different people are endless.
On the other hand though, if you’re a business owner who:
A. Feels established in their industry
B. Have the means to invest in your business
Or
C. Are passionate about taking your brand to the next level
Do you keep picking up a bad pen?
