Hair Part Trends Are Changing Again✨

For the past several years, social media influencers insisted the center part was the only modern way to wear your hair. Side parts were even joked about as being “outdated.”

Now the trend is shifting again. Influencers and celebrities are beginning to wear off-center and side parts, rediscovering the volume, softness, and natural balance they create.

As an image consultant for over 35 years, I’ve always believed the center part is rarely the most flattering choice for most faces. It creates a strong vertical line that divides the face in half and can emphasize asymmetry or make hair appear flat.

A slight off-center or side part often softens the face, adds lift, and creates a more flattering balance.

This is a great reminder that trends come and go, but flattering design principles remain the same. The best hairstyle is always the one that enhances your unique features—not simply what is trending online.

Sometimes a beautiful transformation is as simple as moving your hair part an inch to the side.
