“They were so easy to work with” doesn’t book clients. Show what changed with true metrics.

Every day it doesn’t convert is a lead you didn’t get.

“Elevating spaces” tells people nothing. Say what you actually do. (Of course you can say things like this, but let’s be a bit more informative).

You don’t necessarily need more traffic. You need a site that actually closes the people you already have.

Delegating the stuff outside your zone of genius is how you grow.

Beautiful and invisible is still invisible.

If you can swap your logo onto someone else’s site and the headline still works, it needs a change.

Turns out being your own client is humbling. Design brain and business owner brain do not always agree. But that’s exactly why I’m going through it on my own

If you aren’t getting clicks or buys on your site, you may have a website problem.

I love clever wording as much as the next person but it definitely has it’s own special time and place. Be clear more than clever.

My business bestie Laurie Graham and I work hand in hand with lots of business owners. Social and websites should be treated like a package deal.

You don’t need a different contact form for a different service. Have one contact form with drop downs/radio buttons to filter the client through.

Absolutely.

Your website is not a tattoo. It’s allowed to change when you do. You got better at what you do, your offers shifted, your prices went up, your taste got sharper. Meanwhile your site is still showing up like it’s 2 years ago.

A refresh isn’t starting over. It’s catching your brand up to who you already became.
