Little Rock’s downtown area had an unusual vibe that I enjoyed driving through. It featured the usual mix of eclectic places to eat and shop, e-bikes scattered about, and, unfortunately, a dense homeless population.

That said, here are some pictures—not of those inner parts of the city :)—but instead of Little Rock’s bridges and the surrounding landscape.

FYI, the old big rusty bridge is the ‘Clinton Presidential Park Bridge.’

The parts of America we experience (outside of the tourist attractions) are usually only the little strip of land that follows us along the sides of the highways as we go to and from our destination.

As a photographer, I am grateful that my camera gives me reason and courage to get off the beaten path and explore the side roads of America. To think, that, just a few days ago I was on one of these country roads, sitting on top a hill, and staring off through the vast farmlands of South Dakota watching the sunset.

Here are some of those experiences from Idaho, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Enjoy!
