One thing that comes up in almost every brand strategy process👇🏽
Founders choose what they like
instead of what attracts their ideal client.
Your brand isn’t about your favorite colors or fonts.
It’s about positioning.
Ask yourself:
Are you your ideal client?
If yes, build from that.
If not, design for the person you’re trying to reach.
Strategy over personal preference. Always.
You might be thinking,
I’m not even sure who my ideal client is 🤔
Especially if you’re newer and still gathering insights.
Start here:
What problem is my customer actively trying to solve right now?
What does success look like for them after working with me?
What fears or frustrations are keeping them stuck?
When you understand their problem, desired outcomes, and pain points, you can tailor your messaging from there.
As you grow and gain more sales, go deeper:
Look at your analytics 📈
Where are they finding you?
What industries are converting?
What messaging resonates most?
Then refine and double down.
