For years, plumbers were told the same thing:
“Just add more blogs.”
“Just add more city pages.”
“Just keep feeding Google content.”
But here’s the problem…
Most of that content was never written for a homeowner.
It was written for an algorithm.
Nobody was reading it.
Nobody was trusting it.
Nobody was calling because of it.
And now Google is making it clearer than ever: cheap, repetitive, generic content is not the shortcut people thought it was.
Plumbing companies do not need another “5 Signs You Need Drain Cleaning” blog copied from every other website in town.
They need proof.
Real jobs.
Real photos.
Real service pages.
Real local signals.
Real reasons for a customer to trust them.
The uncomfortable truth is this:
A lot of plumbers are not losing rankings because they ignored SEO. They are losing rankings because they followed bad SEO advice for too long.
