While she officially joined the board in 2023, she has spent decades volunteering and supporting the organization in countless ways. She has been a familiar face at the College of the Redwoods Environmental Fairs, where she taught students about livestock brands, the importance of branding, and even provided hands-on branding demonstrations.
Over the years, Jorie has generously volunteered her time reading in Kneeland and Ferndale schools, helping at tri-tip beef booths, working in the Red Barn, and assisting with countless other events and activities. No matter the task, Jorie is always willing to step in and help wherever she is needed.
