Sometimes going UP in mesh count can actually help the ink clear the screen. Our friends at Remesh FSP shared a great example ๐๐ผ
A customer was struggling to clear a gray barrier blocker through a standard 158 mesh. Instead of dropping mesh count and laying down more ink, FSP recommended SAATI HiDro 198 thin-thread mesh.
The difference? The openings are only 5 microns apart, but open area jumps from 32% to 44%. The result was better ink clearance while maintaining the coverage and softer print they were looking for.
Mesh count is only part of the equation. Thread diameter and open area matter too.
