Classic Communications Founded in 1979, Classic Communications is a full-service marketing/management firm located in Foxbor in Omaha, Nebraska, April 4-8, 2023

Classic offers public relations, marketing, project and event management, branding, crisis management, social media and sponsor liaison services. We have a diverse portfolio of clientele, including commercial companies, non-profit and environmental organizations, and we uniquely specialize in the equestrian industry. Classic Communications has provided media management for some of the world's larg

est equestrian events. We are proud to have coordinated media services and operations for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™, an event that features World Championships in eight equestrian sports over 16 days and which drew over 1,200 media representatives from around the world. Classic has been responsible for media and public relations for the last nine FEI World Cup™ Finals held in the United States – 1989 in Tampa, 1992 in Del Mar and 2000, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2015 in Las Vegas and 2017 in Omaha. Classic holds that same role for the 2023 FEI World Cup™ Jumping, Vaulting and Dressage Finals when they return to the U.S.

The Lake Placid Horse Shows and I lost a very good friend today. Rik Cassidy was the creator and host of our daily TV show, "Coffee at the Horse Show." He and his family did so much for Lake Placid for generations and he will be missed by many. RIP, Rik!
