Happy (belated) New Year! 👋 I’ve been a bit quiet recently but, wow, I have a lot to share.

Since last June, I’ve been working hard over at as the Associate Creative Director. After three years of full-time self-employment, the past 7 months have been a journey of growth, fulfillment, and inspiration. This new role has provided an opportunity to continue to learn from incredible purpose-driven business leaders and fellow creatives and strategists. The small and mighty team whom I’m lucky to work with, and whom I’m excited to talk to every day (truthfully!), has been a valuable source of support and joy.

And I have another (not so small) update for you all. My husband and I are overjoyed to be welcoming our first baby in March! While he already seems to be keeping us busy with appointments, preparations, and balancing responsibilities, I will be slowing down more in the coming months and taking space for myself and my family.

This new season means that More Ours is slowing down in the new year. How we can work together after my maternity leave will look different, but I’m excited for this shift. I’m proud of everything I’ve built at More Ours and will continue to help build at Giant Shoulders, and I’m looking forward to everything that 2024 will bring!

We were inspired by the founder’s last name and intrigued by the connections between the ocean and Pearl Solutions’ mission and values.

The hand-drawn oyster icon, color palette, and ocean imagery represent wisdom, serenity, openness, and growth, and allude to the deep impact that Pearl Solutions’ clients can make when they reach their funding goals.

We infused a sense of prestige, elegance, strength, and trust into every single client touchpoint—from the website to each piece of branded collateral.

As a result, we built a powerful brand experience that will help Pearl Solutions connect meaningfully with their clients, empower them to grow their business, and fuel their purpose to uplift communities.

It all starts with brand strategy!

Pearl Solutions is an established business with a rich history and strong sense of purpose, and we knew it was important to thread those elements throughout the entire brand experience.

We leveraged the founder’s routes in hospitality, the company’s reputation for success, and their strong values of partnership, social consciousness, and commitment to quality.

Through a series of conversations and exercises, we helped Pearl Solutions clarify their vision, mission, values, positioning, promise, and behavior—synthesizing it all into a unified brand strategy.

Pearl Solutions had operated for years through word-of-mouth referrals and without a brand identity or online presence. But in order to grow their business, they’d need a holistic brand that would tell their story, reflect their values, establish trust, and inspire their ideal audience.

We started with brand strategy and then moved into visual identity, website design and development (partnering with !), and finally brand collateral.

Together we crafted a robust brand experience that is infused with the company’s values, supports their mission, and tells their story.

Pearl Solutions helps mission-driven organizations get the funding they need so they can uplift and improve communities and scale their impact.

As a completely referral-based company with a goal to expand into new market sectors, Pearl Solutions needed their first brand identity to connect to their audience and inspire meaningful change.

We helped them clarify their vision, values, and promise, and built them a powerful brand experience that will help them connect meaningfully with their clients and grow their business.

The patterns we made for have evolved from stripes to something more flexible and dynamic. It can be so helpful to revisit a brand after a couple of years to make sure elements are working as they should and make adjustments based on actual usage. We're here for the grid play!
