I wouldn’t call this “new work” because I’m extremely late in posting this, but I’d love for everyone to check out . This rum distillery is not only an amazing producer of rum (and vodka), but also a group of genuinely incredible humans. I’m excited for their growth—it couldn’t have happened to a better team. And if you’re in Frederick, do yourself a favor and stop in for a cocktail (or four).

We crafted their identity around the “royal owl” — a modern, deco-inspired mark that speaks to the knowledge and craft passed down through generations of distillers. Rum is their lifeblood, and this mark represents their obsession with precision. We distilled the form down to its purest geometry, the same way they refine every batch to world-class quality. The result is a mark that feels authoritative, exact, and rooted in the wisdom and discipline behind one of the world’s oldest spirits. Go give them a follow, and better yet, go grab a drink. You’ll be glad you did.

NEW WORK: Introducing — We were tasked with creating a new brand that embodies the seamless convergence of art and science — the essence of modern winemaking. The result is a sleek, minimalist brand that strikes a perfect balance between industrial precision and approachable elegance, redefining the wine experience for seasoned connoisseurs and curious newcomers alike. celebrates the art of winemaking with an unconventional approach, drawing inspiration from the principles of scientific inquiry. The branding features a clean, black-and-white palette with understated holographic accents, reminiscent of scientific equations and precision instruments. The identity and label designs evoke the clarity and structure of laboratory notation while maintaining a contemporary edge that speaks to a younger, design-savvy audience.

New Work: This past year I was given the opportunity to collaborate with the amazing team at on the packaging and display design for their new N.9002 'The Traveler' special edition shoe release.

This limited edition Diadora shoe exemplifies the 'details matter' concept, integrating both aspects of the brand’s clean design aesthetic and paying homage to their homeland of Puerto Rico. Hats off to the Details Matter crew for an amazing shoe design and an incredible sneaker launch. Cheers.

New Work: We are excited to introduce you to the new Puerto Rico Distillery brand. The Puerto Rico Distillery specializes in crafting Pitorro. Pitorro is the first and true rum of Puerto Rico. First referenced in 1797 and historically made as moonshine, this clandestine spirit is still sold underground on the island and often shared by families and friends on special occasions. A traditional rum distilled from sugarcane molasses, Pitorro continues to be an integral part of Puerto Rican culture.

We were excited to be a part of this project and we hope you have a chance to check out their new distillery opening soon in Frederick, Maryland and try a sample this amazing rum — a true taste of Puerto Rican spirit. Cheers.

Proof Positive Process: We are excited to share our newest case study of the brand and packaging work we recently completed for Blackwater Distilling & Tavern.

Congratulations to Oldetowne Landscape Architects and the kick off of their new brand and identity! Great project. Great People. We were stoked to be able to work with such a passionate, forward-thinking team.

The new logo:
Simple and bold, the incomplete letter ’O’ gives a nod to the importance of Oldetowne’s client involvement in every project. Without the client, the work would never be complete and the finished beauty of the project would never be enjoyed. Oldetowne’s passion for what they do is also represented in the subtle creation of a tree residing in the negative space of the ‘O’ — driving home their tagline “Live Outside”.
