Counting down the hours til I’m back in this magical place for a quick, bittersweet trip to hold family tight. I’m traveling sans kiddos (what does that even look like 😂), and on the “it-takes-2-full-days-to-get-there” to do list is website copy and binging some books- please please please drop your fave audiobook listen in the comments. The last one I finished was so beautiful it’s ruined me and I need some inspiration!

I didn’t style this - Piper did!! And I loved watching her joy and enthusiasm to be creative and explore!! I spent some time this weekend shooting some styled set ups for new website imagery, and Piper hung out with me, watching and commenting. At the end, there was a little bit of time left with good light and she asked if she could try to do one, and if I would be willing to photograph it for her — ABSOLUTELY!! We talked about theme, and composition, and intentionality/making sure things make sense, and she came up with this all on her own while I stood back. It’s a styled story of travel to France, showing through her eyes bits of our 2 month trip this Spring 🧳
I LOVE watching her creativity, and communication blossom - I will for sure be reading her all the comments 🥰🤍✏️
