Cathy’s love of wine blossomed as she entered a new season of life—and quickly turned into a meaningful way to give back. She spent nine wonderful years on the Wine Committee at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, deepening her connection to the industry and the people behind it.
After moving to Fredericksburg nearly four years ago, Cathy launched a new branch of her business, Owner & Consultant at Wine Works Marketing / White Cat Marketing, where she now works closely with wineries and the local tourism community.
Her favorite wine varieties? Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc 🥂
What inspires her most is the vertical integration of the wine world—seeing one business shepherd the process from vineyard to bottle to consumer. As a marketing consultant, Cathy loves partnering with winemakers who beautifully balance science and art, passion and precision.
When she’s not immersed in wine and marketing, Cathy’s world revolves around her husband of 45 years, their Golden Doodle Cindy Lou Who, four alpacas, and their little farmhouse near Fredericksburg. She’s also a proud mom of two accomplished adult children and a doting grandmother to two darling grandsons (photos available upon request—just not on social media 😉).
