Hi my friend. I’m Jackie Powell — women's portrait photographer, storyteller, transformation ju**ie, and big-hearted confidence booster.
Most days you can find me neck deep in some creative project or other — whether planning sets and outfits for my next portrait session, re-designing a room in my home or studio or drafting stories for brochures, blogs, videos or voice-overs. For as long as I can remember I've have a crazy, never-ending drive to create. That’s probably why I practically live at Home Depot and half of my wardrobe has paint splotches on it — fashionably done, but splotched nonetheless.
But I like to think of my crazy creative projects and transformations as being a modern-day Fairy Godmother because that’s a little more glamorous and I get to carry a wand.
