YOUR VIEWS: The government in Cameroon has proposed extending the country’s adultery laws to men as well as women. A married woman who has sexual relations outside marriage currently could face a fine and possible imprisonment. Now men could face the same penalty. In a country where men are allowed to have up to four wives is this, as some say, a victory for gender equality or an outdated law that should be scrapped instead of extended? What does the law say in your country?
