🗳️ Meet the Candidates. Ask the Questions. Be Part of the Conversation.

Join us for the Fruita City Council Candidate Forum on Wednesday, February 25, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Fruita Community Center.

This interactive, roundtable-style forum is designed to create meaningful dialogue between City Council candidates and the Fruita community. Candidates will rotate through small-group tables in 15-minute rounds, sharing who they are, their priorities for Fruita, and answering your questions in an open, conversational setting.

Each table will be moderated to ensure everyone has a chance to participate and that conversations stay on track. Chamber moderators will also capture key discussion points, which will be shared after the event through our newsletter, website, and social media for those unable to attend.

This is a nonpartisan opportunity to engage directly with the candidates and stay informed about the future of our community.

Hey Fruita! If you haven't heard...a community garden is coming to the Fruita Community Center!

Before we get started, we want to spend some time with the community sharing ideas for the space, including how the garden will operate, showing design plans, and receiving input from residents. Next Tuesday, January 13, from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., come join the conversation and kick off this fun project! The conversation will be held in the Fruita Community Center meeting rooms just behind the front desk.

Beginner 1 Pickleball is perfect if you’ve never played (or you’ve played once and still have questions). In a friendly, supportive setting at the Fruita Community Center, you’ll learn the basics—rules, scoring, court positioning, and the key strokes—so you can step on the court with confidence.
