Are you making these 6 Shopping Mistakes?
1. Shopping for entertainment
👉🏻 It is common to overspend when we shop for entertainment, when we don’t need anything.
✨How much time do you spend shopping-for-fun? Maybe it’s time for a new hobby 😉
‼️DYK! If you spend approx. $50 per week in unnecessary shopping, you waste an avg. of $2,600 / yr
2. Purchasing b/c it looked great on someone else
👉🏻 Hard fact: Just because it looks good on someone else, doesn’t mean it’s going to be a good option for you.
✨ Every purchase should be an informed decision which requires that you know which shapes, patterns, cuts and silhouettes best flatter your shape.
3. Buying on impulse
👉🏻 If you don’t need it, don’t buy it!
✨ In order to shop wisely you need to ‘shop’ your closet regularly and make a running list of the gaps in your wardrobe. This allows you to purchase smarter and intentionally.
4. Waiting until last minute
👉🏻 When you wait until the last minute to make a purchase, you’re more likely to overspend and feel pressured to purchase something that isn’t an 8-9 or 10 for you.
✨ Rather than making last minute purchases, take the time to look at events you have coming up for the year and plan ahead.
5. Not having a plan
👉🏻 Shopping without a list or a plan results in overspending.
✨ If you don’t know ahead of time what you need to purchase, you will likely purchase unnecessary or duplicate items.
6. “Retail therapy”
👉🏻 How often do you shop to feel better? ✨ Shopping on emotion often leads to over spending and poor purchase choices.
Style analysis teaches you what looks great on Y-O-U and W-H-Y by taking into consideration personality, body shape and lifestyle.
Which allows you to shop intentionally and with confidence.
