Fun Fact!: I am a Food Scientist with a Masters degree in Food Safety and also worked in Poultry Science at NC State University.

What has been a benefit of being a member of the Fuquay-Varina Chamber for you personally or professionally?: I love people and interacting socially and professionally. I am an extrovert and I think like a scientist and therefore like to teach and explain concepts. I like for clients to understand the process of what it takes to create their branded merchandise. Once a teacher always a teacher!

Although I started my career in 1998 as a food scientist, I am LOVING being a small business owner! Everyday I get the opportunity to spend time with amazing clients and community leaders that have become friends!! Whether it’s folks coming in to the shop and seeing orders for people they know or bumping into others that have also stopped in at the same time. No matter how much FV grows, small businesses and the relationships formed through our absolutely outstanding Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce are essential and I am grateful! Art House Inks Screen Printing & Embroidery has continued a 35 year legacy in FV and has grown thanks to an amazing TEAM and awesome clients. The referrals and shout outs mean so much to us. Being a Finalist in the People’s Choice Awards is an honor and I am so very grateful to be a part of the BEST Chamber in NC! The Awards Gala was so much Fun!
