They asked us for T-shirts.
We asked when they’d actually be wearing them.
A workforce program was getting ready to welcome a new group of young people entering the trades. Most would be working outdoors from October through spring.
Suddenly, a T-shirt didn’t make much sense on a 38-degree morning at 7 a.m.
So we changed the order.
Instead of tees, we went with soft shell jackets they could wear on the job site, to an interview, and everywhere in between.

A good apparel order should be kind of boring.
Hear us out.
You order shirts today.
Six months later, you reorder them. Same logo. Same colors. Same placement. Same quality.
No surprises.
That's harder to pull off than it sounds.
It takes keeping the right embroidery files, matching the same thread and ink colors, maintaining consistent placement, and holding every order to the same standard.
Because over time, little differences add up.
A slightly different blue here. A logo sitting a little lower there. Suddenly the gear from last year doesn't quite match the gear from this year.
Your brand shouldn't slowly change every time you reorder apparel.
