I recently had the awesome opportunity to be a guest on the Do Well Collective podcast. These guys are AMAZING PEOPLE. They're on a mission to have conversations that help Christian Millennials know God, discover their purpose, and impact their world.
We had a really cool conversation about what it means to be a Christian entrepreneur, and how God does things differently than what we've been taught. How we're supposed to be people of absurd generosity that always go above and beyond for our customers, friends, families, and everyone around us.

Your brand's visual identity (logos, fonts, colors and stuff) needs to represent your product well, not just be a bunch of your favorite things. Your favorite color might be bright pink but if you own a boxing gym or something, that's probably not a good fit. Make sure your design is adding something to your brand, not just fitting your personal aesthetic preferences.
A lot of people struggle with this. Even some designers...

Unfortunately THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS UNICORNS!!! If a designer tells you they're good, fast, AND cheap, THEY LYIN!!!
TBH this works for designers, plumbers, mechanics, anything. By all means get the most bang for your buck, but also invest in the things that matter! It's much better to wait for a quality product that's made with care, than to pay someone less money to do a bad job quickly.
Also, full transparency, I love unicorns. Very underrated mythological creature given a bad rap by people like Lisa Frank. We can talk about unicorns in the comments. Fight me.

If we don't figure out our big aspirations in life, we tend to get lost. Bob Goff is a big dreamer who does big things. I wanna be like that. I'm still working on it, which is why you're even reading this in the first place. If we wanna make the world a better place, we gotta DREAM BIG.

This may seem a bit utopian, but I really believe it's true. Get the right people in a room, and you can do anything. Dream big! Change the freaking world! What's the problem you're trying to solve, and who do you need to get in a room to solve it?

This project is close to my heart. I'm super proud of it. As a G42 Leadership Academy alum, it was an honor to help recreate their brand in a way that shows just how valuable and awesome G42 TRULY IS!!!
We put a lot of work into this brand over the years and it was all worth it. Their stuff not only looks beautiful, but it tells potential interns exactly what they're getting themselves into.

Make the world better! Don't quit when things get hard. Don't leave because you don't like something. Odds are, you're the only one who can change it.
If you're passionate enough about a problem, you can help everyone who has to deal with it. If you just leave the situation right away, it'll never get better for anyone. We should be leaving things better than we found them. To do that, we gotta stick around when things get tough.
