I’m not going to lie, September left me a bit lowwww, you can swipe to see a photo of me post-cry in on of the phone booths at Thrive 🫠
But October? October turned into one of my best (and most encouraging) months, both at Honeycomb and personally, since I launched last august. I had so much interest in social media services…DMs, website forms, discovery calls, and cold calls (my biggest fear.) I was so busy I only had time to read one book for fun 😭 (a true tragedy for me) but I started auditing a class and finished two books for that 👩🏻🏫🤓
Most mornings, sat on my front porch watching the squirrels jump from the roof to the flimsiest branch in the yard or just stared at the leaves… or both. I took that time slowly. Then I got to work. So. Much. Work.
I worked from home, Thrive, Nashville, my parents’ perfect front porch, starbucks, and one time, my car (using my hotspot because the thought of going inside was unbearable 🤷🏻♀️)
Past Octobers have held some hard memories for me, but this one? It held warm tea while editing reels, cozy movies while scheduling emails, long days planning posts and social strategies. It held the mundane and the meaningful, closely.
And I loved it 🤎
