I've watched this in our own data for years. The posts that do best are the ones where I'm on screen. A real photo of a real person at a real event. Not a designed graphic with a quote on it.

We know this. We've known it for a while. And we still reach for the graphic because it's easier and we don't have to get on camera.

But 70% of consumers say they prefer buying from small businesses. The reason is trust. Trust comes from seeing a face. A person. Someone who shows up.

The fix: add three to five questions to every page of your website, written the way your customers actually ask them. Answer in the first sentence. AI reads that format and cites it.

Chad is one of those people I get to talk business with in a real way. He thinks in problems and solutions, he tells you the truth, and he is genuinely excited about what is being built around him and by him. Getting him on A Good Pour felt overdue.

What I appreciated most was how he talked about AI from a security standpoint. He is not afraid of it. He is paying attention to it the same way he pays attention to any threat or opportunity in his work, with his eyes open and a clear question in mind: what problem are we actually trying to solve?

He also said something that I think about a lot in my own work. He said employees are walking out the door with everything if a company has not set up its AI tools properly. That is not a technology problem. That is a leadership and culture problem. And that is exactly the conversation I want more businesses in this community having.
