The sun may have set on summer vacation, but local summer is in full swing and these sunsets are not going anywhere! Late summer & fall sunsets in South Jersey are stunnnnning. These are just a few of the many places to catch a gorg view around here. Kids may be heading back to school, but the weather is still perfect for ice cream! A 3 day weekend calls for a celebratory ice cream sundae, and A La Mode Ice Cream Parlor in Ocean City is one of the best spots to get one! I remember coming here as a kid and always having the Cookie Heaven Sundae with a warm gooey chocolate chip cookie & cookie dough ice cream. Recently, we visited and had the Brownie A La Mode, served with homemade brownies and it was sooo delish! I loveeee a vintage, old school ice cream parlor and that’s exactly what you’ll find over at à la mode. It does get crowded, but I went during the day and there was no line at all! Perfect after beach or after park stop! (There’s a really great park just a few blocks down in Haven Ave) What’s your go to order?!

Here are the details to this new program in Galloway for ages 1-3, run by a local SLP Milestones Pediatric Therapy Group , beginning September 15!

Little Communicators Co. is a 5-week series with 45-minute classes once a week, curated for ages 1–3. The program meets weekly Tuesdays from 10:30-11:15 am, at Reformation Lutheran Church located at 633 South New York Rd in Galloway, NJ! The cost is $200 for the full 5-week series.

100/10 Queen Bean Iced latte from The Queen Bean Bistro in Ventnor Boardwalk! This byob brunch & dinner spot is SOOOO delicious, and located on the boardwalk at the bottom of the Vassar Square Condominum. Last weekend we rode bikes w the kids on the boards and grabbed coffees to go, but I can attest their food is also just as amaze as the lattes! Their outdoor seating options are perfect for a sunny day, with sounds and views of the ocean. Whether you’re popping in from your bike ride or making an event of brunch or dinner, be sure to try The Queen Bean Bistro in Ventnor!

Recently tried sushi from Yuki Hanna in Brigantine and we loved it!! I thought the prices for the special rolls were very reasonable too. They also have a Chinese menu, which I can’t speak for but my husband approved of his sweet & sour chicken 🤪 This will def not be our last time ordering here!

This one’s for the busy family whose life is about to get even busier in the next 1-2 weeks as schools go back and fall sports and activities begin. For $59.99 at Roman’s Pizza House-Absecon , you can get a delisssssh family style meal from Roman’s Pizza House-Absecon for $59.99 to feed the whole family (serves ~4 people), use as meal prep, or both! We recently ordered their chicken francese, which I love theirs bc it’s so lemony and comes w mushrooms. The entree comes with pasta, salad, and garlic knots! It’s a tonnnn of food and they even offer delivery! This fed my hubby & I dinner two nights in a row, and lunch for me in between as well. They have several entree options available to choose from. Such an easy, delish, and cost effective hack for a busy week!
