🔹 Inductive Method
Definition: A reasoning process that begins with specific observations and builds up to a broader generalization.
Process:

Inductive Generalization: "Therefore, we conclude that all humans are mortal."

1️⃣ Exploratory Research:
Objective: To discover new ideas and insights.
Characteristics: Flexible and versatile. It is often used as the initial stage in research design.
Methods: Expert surveys, pilot surveys, case studies, qualitative analysis of secondary data, and other qualitative research techniques.
Example: Suppose a company wants to introduce a new product but isn’t sure what features customers would like. They might conduct focus groups or expert interviews to gather insights.

2️⃣Descriptive Research:
Objective: To describe market characteristics or functions.
Characteristics: Preplanned and structured design, marked by the prior formulation of specific hypotheses.
Methods: Quantitative analysis of secondary data, surveys, panels, observations, and other methods.
Example: If a company wants to know how many people use their app every day, they would conduct a survey to gather information and describe the users’ behavior.

3️⃣ Causal Research:
Objective: To determine cause-and-effect relationships.
Characteristics: Involves manipulation of one or more independent variables and measures the effect on dependent variables while controlling other mediating variables.
Methods: Experiments are commonly used to test these relationships.
Example: If a company changes the price of a product, they might run an experiment to see if that affects how many products are sold. They can measure if the price change causes a change in sales.
