When your daughter plans a party in her bedroom, says the dress code is fancy AND personally selects your outfit… you attend accordingly. 💃🏻😂 Did the bridesmaid dress zip? Absolutely not. Did that stop us? nope Sometimes motherhood is just saying yes to the party. 🤍

Stay-at-home mom life is cleaning the kitchen after one meal just in time to start making the next. 😂 At least she was pretty for approximately 4 minutes. 💐

Pulled out some old-school DVDs this weekend and I forgot how nice it is to just… put a movie on. 🥹 The previews. No endless scrolling through options. No deciding what to watch next. Just picking a movie, pressing play, and hanging out together. A slow weekend at home with my family was exactly what I needed. I’d say it was a pretty good weekend. 🌿 Take a deep breath and flourish right where you are.

Main Character Maintenance as a stay-at-home mom sometimes looks like getting dressed just to… stay home. 😂👏 Because I’ve learned I feel so much more like myself when I take a few minutes to get ready for the day—even when the only people seeing the outfit are my kids. 🤍 CALIA

Sometimes I don’t need a better routine. I need everyone to leave my house for a few hours so I can put things back where they belong and hear myself think. 😂 The mental load has been LOUD lately, but a clean house, and wrestling that giant Lovesac back into place did more for me than I’d like to admit. Anyway… everyone is alive, the house is clean, and we’re doing the dang thing. 🤝 Truly Free Home

Sometimes motherhood is realizing that as deeply as I love my children, I will never be able to love them as perfectly as God does. I can spend my whole life reminding her who she is, speaking truth over her, and making sure she knows how deeply she is loved—but ultimately, I want her identity to be rooted in Him, not me. And trying to tell my little girl that without crying was not happening today. 🥹🤍

Sometimes Main Character Maintenance is really just getting dressed, putting yourself together, and remembering you’re allowed to feel GOOD in the middle of motherhood too. 👏✨ Go be the cute, confident momma you are. 🤍
