Our team showed up to Strut our stuff and to raise needed funds for Pug Nation Rescue. Good job everyone--thank you to everyone who was on our Team and helped to raise money and a big thanks to everyone who donated!

Walk starts at 9am but it will still be a bit warm so please be sure to bring a stroller and/or cooling vest for your older Pugs or be prepared to carry them!

Hi All. This absolute beauty is Bugsy; he was turned over to us because he can't walk. He will need an MRI and possible back surgery. This is why we Strut, to raise the funds for the Bugsys of the world. Sorry we have not posted for a bit but the Pugtacular had taken our attention but now with less than a week until Strut Your Mutt, we have to turn our focus to one last push! Here are the event details...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be shy and see if you can get more donations! Thanks and looking forward to seeing you out there.

Dao and Lao were found wandering by themselves but don't worry, we got them out of the Shelter. But they will need a lot of care, so in their name today, how about you do a Strut post and ask your friends to chip in 5 bucks? No one will donate unless you ask! Let's do it together, who is with us?

This is why we Strut, Team. Because of Pugs like Vernie who was broken in a shelter and needed double hip surgery to save his life. He's healing so well and we had the funds only through our fundraising efforts.

SO, we have about 1-1/2 months to hit our goal so the Vernies of the world can be saved in 2020!!! Don't be shy...get on social media and ask, ask ask. Make sure you let people know why Pug Nation is important to you...that personal touch will go a long way when asking for your friends and family to donate.

Our Team Goal is to hit $10,000 by the end of September. We are currently at $6335 so we have our work cut out for us...

Do it for Milo! He was unwanted but we have taken good care of him and loved him up for over 7 months now. He's a happy guy, has his very own HiPPo and runs the place. How? Because of people like you, helping us to raise money. Our team is growing, we are 21% towards our Team Goal so keep plugging along. Don't forget to use the tools on your Strut Team page to email your friends and do social media posts. Don't be shy, people generally want to help, but you have to ask. Hi Strutters...this is Iris, a 7 week old Pug someone purchased on Craigslist. No surprise, she has Parvo. So, we got a frantic call from the woman who bought her...she couldn't afford treatment so it was either put her down or hope we can help. How could we say no despite the fact she will probably have to be hospitalized for 4-7 days? With that, of course, comes a HUGE bill.

You still have time to ask family, friends and neighbors for donations. We really do need the funds...besides Iris this week we've hospitalized Betsy (pneumonia), Binkie (C-Section) and Dolly (kidney disease). Yikes. Keep at it, don't be shy, it's for the Pugs!

So, you've made the awesome first step of joining our team...next step is to raise money for the cause. No one likes to ask for money so let's take baby steps...how about by the end of the week you pick out three friends or family members to send an email from your Strut account? Just three.
