First day of working on the treadmill vs the last day
This wether definitely stayed small-top weight was 64 pounds but man he packed a lot of muscle onto that small body!
He was rock solid no matter where you touched him. He got 2nd place at my county show and almost got pulled for judging at Austin yesterday.
But that was our final wether I’ll be showing, it was fun while it lasted!

Here’s our three bucks! We just moved them in together last night, all three have not been on show feed in a long time, the two traditionals have never been to a show and the dapple hasn’t been shown since last spring.

Triple Threat (red dapple)
Hercules (light colored traditional)

There were some really awesome wether bred goats at Fort Worth this week, but we made it to the last cut before the judge started placing. I’m happy with that!
Here’s the final photo of my wether as we were leaving him. Just have one more wether and he doesn’t show until March.
Also be on the lookout for any goats looking to go, we might have a real nice doe and possibly buck in the upcoming months that we need to let go of. Both come out of winning lines and we’re still debating whether to keep them or not.

Before and after photos of my Fort Worth wether, he got 4th place at County and shows for the last time sometime today.
First photo is right before I worked him for the first time and second photo is from yesterday. I’d say he turned out pretty good for ABGA genetics and not wether goat genetics.

Today was pretty good for my final year doing county!
I got 2nd place with my light weight wether
4th with my medium weight wether
And 4th with my commercial doe!
