This morning’s CMA Legislative Luncheon is a reminder of just how vital tourism is to our local economy — and to businesses like The Hive Coffee & Bakehouse. As an owner of The Hive, I see the impact daily: visitors who discover us while exploring Mammoth Cave, families traveling through who become regulars when they return, and tourism dollars that help sustain our growth and our team.

In 2024, the CMA region brought in $174.1 million in visitor spending and supported 1,350 jobs — a massive boost for small businesses across Barren, Edmonson, and Hart Counties.

I’m proud to represent Studio 22 Marketing today, and even prouder to share that I’ve accepted a seat on the Caveland Marketing Association Board. Barren County Tourism and CMA do incredible work to lift up small businesses, and I’m excited to support and strengthen that momentum!

META UPDATE FOR ADVERTISERS

Meta is quietly rolling out a new placement option inside Ads Manager — and if you run catalog campaigns, you’ll want to take a look at this.

We’re seeing a new carousel-style display available at the ad level for standard static and video creatives when a product catalog is attached. When both “catalog” and “all format display options” are turned on, you may notice the ability to show your ad as either:

• A carousel
• A collection

Here’s the breakdown:

Carousel (the new option): Your main creative appears as the first card, and the remaining cards pull in products from your catalog automatically. Meta’s system chooses which items to feature based on conversion likelihood, giving it that “dynamic catalog ad” feel — just with your custom intro card leading the way.

Collection: This behaves similarly to what we’ve seen for the past year — products displayed underneath your primary creative.

Want to see if you have access?

We're testing performance differences between the two display types across multiple accounts. So far, early trends look positive — especially for brands with strong product imagery and clean catalog feeds.
