Content days at Hammond Castle Museum are always exciting and( pretty strenuous).

Here’s a little behind the scenes look at what it takes to film inside a 100-year-old castle with really unique architecture, including a winding staircase.

The goal is to get the angles and lines to guide the viewer’s eye naturally through the space. Walls, ceilings, cabinets-EVERYTHING should feel straight and intentional, not tilted or distorted.

The goal is to make the property feel balanced, spacious, honest, and easy to understand.
Well, at least that's how our team approaches property photography.

We’ve photographed a lot of projects, and part of our job is lining up angles for the best shot and getting up close into all the nooks and crannies… so it’s pretty easy for us to spot when something is even slightly off.

In this project completed by Heirloom Builders, we kept looking- but couldn’t find it.

Everything was crisp, straight, and perfectly aligned. Every transition felt intentional, every finish clean. And with the ocean right in front of it, the whole space just hits differently. It’s one of those homes where the craftsmanship and the homeowner’s taste are so in sync that nothing feels forced… it just works.

We originally planned to be there for two hours, and ended up staying almost three, just because we kept noticing more details worth capturing. That doesn’t happen by accident.

There is one detail in here that gets me every time, though. The kind of thing that once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Gloucester Music Works officially opened its new doors, and we had the honor of capturing the ribbon cutting.

This one feels a little extra special for us because our daughter is a student there, so getting to support and document something that’s directly impacting our own family… feels nice.

Gloucester Music Works is a new nonprofit music school built around one simple but powerful idea: music education should be accessible to everyone in our community. We're honored to capture the excitement, thankful to have this in our community, and proud to support what they’re building.

We also want to let you all know that the classes aren't just for kids.

Help me wish Pedro a Happy Birthday!

Who is Pedro? 🤔
Pedro's one of Sassy’s founders, and he comes from a family of creatives… photographers, videographers, musicians. Creativity has always been part of who he is.

His curiosity has pushed him to explore all kinds of things… cooking, clay modeling, tattooing, sketching, baking.... and he excels at every one, every time (such a show-off!)

At Sassy, he does everything. Creative director, filmmaker, photographer, graphic designer, web developer. If we’ve worked on a project for you, chances are he was involved.

As his wife and business partner, I can say the only things he doesn’t do well… are the things he hasn’t tried yet.

Our team is better because of him. Our clients feel it in the work. And I get to see it up close every day.
