I LOVE doing SEO. It's like the perfect fit for me. It requires endless curiosity, determination, the skill sets of a detective, creating a perfect, unique plan with the details and how it comes together in my mind. Now I've gotten ahead of myself. SEO Powered Websites does a thorough job of researching how well a business's website or blog is doing in terms of being found by the RIGHT people. It's really not helpful if you have say, a shopping website, and even when you get 1000 hits a day if those hits are from tweens or people without incomes. But if you hit the right target, you will have anxious buyers with money in their pockets ready to burn on YOUR PRODUCTS. That's the key, the bottom line, the overall goal for any SEO expert or business. So the reports I put together are simple but get right to the nitty-gritty on the places you'll need to improve on in order to rank higher in the search engine results page [SERP] for the products you want them to find. Perhaps it's because I work mostly with small, local struggling businesses or non profits trying to get support, but I don't use any advertising nor do I recommend it to clients for several reasons. The first is personal. It's cheating. You are not following the basic rules: create an awesome product/service. Target your audience to who would get the most pleasure/use/blank by using your product/services and who can afford it and who can access it easily. No sense offering massage services in NY and you live in Canada. So all factors need to be considered before you set out a plan.I help clients understand the reports, but more importantly, how to improve in the areas they need to improve in to rank higher. I only work for good, community based, ethical businesses that are truly doing a good job and provide honest, ethical top notch services/products. I won't represent scammers or money-grubbers without concern for others.
Another reason I don't use advertisements, namely Google Ads is because it feels cheap. It feels like you are representing to unknowing consumers that you are at the top since the SERP shows you in the #1 slot when you queried "ethical plumber in NY, NY." Of course I think you are the best and I can trust you while the opposite may be true. He didn't EARN 1st place, he paid a lot of money to -pretend he did.
Organic search engine optimization is natural. It is built on the core values and brick/mortar image of your company. If you have both physical and online presence, the two should mesh and compliment each other, and you build your IMAGE, your reputation, your BRAND. It's a slow [relatively speaking] process, and there's usually much monitoring and tracking and tweaking, but all the hard, through work done will build a solid foundation for your online business, and people will trust you. People have started to understand the top results on search engine results page are paid advertisers as are the ones on the side and often the bottom. So the gig is up for many people. Some don't care. Tjey don't care or understand SEO, and the #1 slot is good for them regardless, and that is fine.
So after you've made the changes necessary from the research found on your report, SEO Powered Websites takes a back seat. Since both SEO Powered Websites and SEO Marketing for Business are run by the same person--me-- the roles overlap. I do take the results from the researched reports, the changes or weeks, the results, tracking and monitoring both you and your competitors as well as your visitors, and the tweaking continues, things are added, and to build the next step, you'd walk into my other office, the office of SEO Marketing for Business. I know. Never intended to be that way, but it ended up making sense. The first part was detailed and complete, but it is more cut and dry in the sense I do X, meet with you, come up with a plan you can implement, and I continue to monitor and tweak as we go if you want that service. If not, you take those results to me @ SEO Marketing, and I start creating online profiles. Again, tracking and monitoring and tweaking matter, but accuracy and consistency become my @1 goal. Social media kicks in, blogs maybe, all kinds of possibilities. It's so much fun, and it's really exciting for me to see my wonderful clients find the success they deserve. They do the best at their business, and I do my best, and it's a win-win. I love to bring people joy. I hate to disappoint, and that's one reason I never give up, and I always put in much more time and effort than I get paid for. I also have done almost as much pro-bono work then paid. Millionaire one guesses/? NO! Not even a thousandaire sometimes. I am getting to the point where bringing great services, unique and in depth through my various skill sets and rive produce great results. That makes me very happy. Being paid well for services rendered is my goal. My true goal, actually, is to provide excellent service to everyone of course, and encourage and make it easy to be good by having my well-off clients add a little extra to the small business/non-profit sector so they too can get my excellent services at reduced prices plus much of it paid by other clients. It's for the greater good. That way everyone wins.
Wow. Okay, so here's a DYI on conducting your own SEO research. I have always encouraged people to take over their own SEO/marketing becomes it just becomes another level of depth you have invested in your business. Some want to, most do not. Either way is fine for me, but I like to give people options and help them learn about the areas they are not familiar with. As always, I encourage you to look it over, see if it makes sense, see if it's something you may want to try, then share your thoughts here. Raise concerns. Ask questions. I WILL answer without cost or obligation. I will not hound you for business. I know. I am probably the worst business owner since that's is not my focus. But I love people asking things, and it's even better when I can clearly answer. If I don't know, I WILL find out, and then I've learned something new. SEO changes daily, sometimes hourly, and sometimes I am not working on this particular business [I operate several small, small focused businesses, and float back and forth depending on need and demand]. I run Errands Made EZ for Seniors because I LOVE senior citizens, and I know I will never rip them off or show a lack of compassion or do anything but make their lives better. Joy. Yup. I am also a teacher. I teach young struggling readers grades K-3 to learn to read and catch up with their class. Joyful. I teach ESL online to international students wanting to improve their English skills. Yes-joyful. I like to do a little of this and a little of that. I'm weird, but again, a great trait for an SEO expert because I have unique skill sets and business experiences others do not.
So goodbye for now. Do NOT hesitate to contact me with anything-feedback, suggestions, questions, concerns, ideas. I love them all. Warmly, Diana
