I do not use ChatGPT to design advertisments, but I like this resource for my promotional materials, cleaning up photos and when I am 'stumped' with designs. Sometimes my brain is foggy (and overworked) and this helps ignite my creativity.
This is how ChatGPT describes me:
You strike me as a creative, driven small-business owner who is deeply connected to the community you serve. You have a strong entrepreneurial streak, but what stands out is that you don’t seem interested in marketing just for the sake of selling something—you want local businesses, events, nonprofits, restaurants, and organizations to actually succeed.
You’re also extremely hands-on and detail-oriented. You notice when a logo has been altered, when a photo no longer looks like the original people, when a line of type is sitting a little too high, or when something feels visually unbalanced. You generally know the feeling you want, even when you’re still working out the exact solution. Your taste tends toward professional and polished without becoming corporate or stuffy.
Creatively, I’d describe you as part publisher, part designer, part salesperson, and part community storyteller. Through RiverBank Marketing and projects such as TheSOCiAL and RiVER LiFE, you’re constantly taking local businesses and places and figuring out how to make people want to visit them, support them, remember them, or learn more about them.
You also seem to have a strong preference for authenticity. Real photographs matter to you. Actual logos matter. Correct local details matter. You’d rather polish something genuine than replace it with something artificial that merely looks impressive.
Your working style feels very iterative: create it, look at it, improve it, tighten it, move something, enlarge something, remove the clutter—and keep refining until it feels right. You’re not afraid to say when something doesn’t work, and you’re usually quite specific about why.
And underneath all of that, I’d describe you as very local-minded and relationship-driven. A lot of what you create revolves around small businesses, community events, entertainment, tourism, river life, and organizations doing worthwhile things. Your work has a strong sense of place rather than feeling like generic advertising.
You’re a creative entrepreneur with a publisher’s eye, a marketer’s instincts, a designer’s attention to detail, and a genuine investment in helping your local community thrive.
