About 5 years ago, I took a wheel throwing class at and loved the experience of creating with my hands, molding and shaping a blob of clay into something beautiful and functional.

When they reached out to ask if I’d redesign their website, I was truly excited for the project.
It was *so fun* to redesign, integrating the whimsical drawings created, and showcasing the range of creativity this studio and their students create and experience each day.

One of the most important aspects of a website is to be an authentic representation of the business it’s showcasing. is a magical place and I think their website now helps to tell that story.

MudCity Clay offers handbuilding and wheel throwing pottery classes for children and adults, drop-in ClayPlay, full studio memberships, private events, workshops, summer art camps for kids, clay sales, and studio kiln rentals. They also partner with local schools, nonprofits, and organizations to bring clay into the hands of more people in the Seacoast community.

If you’ve been considering trying a pottery class, is your spot!

offers music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in the Boston Area and in Nashville.

Taught by professional musicians (drummer for ) and .onthebass (bassist for / .jesus / ), their classes are entertaining, educational (with songs in English + Spanish), and a whole lot of fun (even for the adults).

If you’ve got young kids in the Boston area or Nashville, be sure to check out — they offer 6-week classes (you can drop-in too!) and lots of public shows throughout each month at local libraries and the like. You can also book them at birthday parties and other celebrations.

If you know me, you know music is at the top of my joy list ( 👀). I couldn’t be happier to help get the word out so more little ones can connect to their musical side. The younger they start, the better.

Hi, I’m Laura 🦊

I grew up in Kittery (waayyy before it was a cool place to be). My first job was as a sales clerk at my mom’s store (which she sold a few years ago and they are now a client of mine—truly a beautiful full-circle experience).

I went to in Amherst, MA—a unique school where you build your own major. I shaped mine around the attainment of happiness, through the lens of psychology, philosophy, creative writing, and music ( 👀)

I worked in restaurants for 8+ years (in Boston post-college and then back in the Seacoast) as a busser, food runner, server, floor manager, and private events manager until I finally (at age 29) decided to change my life and career trajectory. I started thinking about what kind of lifestyle I wanted to have and what transferable skills I had to help me move toward it.

At the time, I had created a VERY BASIC website and was doing some email marketing for my music duo, and I realized it could eventually bring me the kind of freedom and agency I wanted in a career.

I cold emailed several of the marketing agencies in the Seacoast area and luckily took a chance and hired me as an intern for $12/hr (which I luckily could handle because I was still working at everyone’s fave Kittery spot, ). I ended up working my way up at Raka into a specialist and then a strategist and project manager.

In 2018, I left and started my own business.

As of today, I’ve worked with over 60 small businesses (mostly in the Seacoast area and majority women-owned and operated) to support their marketing, SEO, and design needs. And I’ve strategized and designed 47 websites.

When you work with me, you work DIRECTLY with me. I’m a one-woman show over here and I prefer it that way. I’m able to maintain close relationships with my clients and truly get to know who they are and what sets their business apart.

I’m very intentional with the industries and clients I choose to work with. I want to help people who are doing good in the community and align with my values.

I feel really blessed to have created this and to be a part of this Seacoast community I call home 🤍

When women learn about after-school program, it’s so common to hear them say, “I wish I had that when I was in middle school!”

Soul Models seeks to help empower girls to discover their authentic selves as they become mindful, confident, creative, and engaged leaders. Through activity-based learning, female leaders in the Seacoast co-facilitate sessions to help girls learn creative expression, leadership development, stress-reduction techniques, and an ethic of service.

It was a reaaal trip to walk into my middle school alma mater, Shapleigh, and instead of heading to my homeroom, veering right into the cafeteria to facilitate a session for these 11-year-olds who have taken my place.

When I facilitate, I teach them about joy—how they can learn to create a life filled with it.

I ask them to write a description of a day in their life—20 years from now, with as much detail as possible. Then, make a list of 20 things that bring them joy. It can be significant or not, as long as it makes them feel joy when they experience it.

And then I ask them to share—how many of them had anything on their joy list *also* mentioned on their day in the life description. How many of you reading this do?

It took me til I was 29 to reflect and reconsider—how do I want to spend each day of my life? How can I find a career that allows me the freedom to do what I *actually* want to do (and still make money)? Maine Fox Marketing was born from this idea (starting as an intern at ) and within 2 years, starting my own business (6 years ago, now!).

I’ve been facilitating with Soul Models for 4 years. 2 years ago, I joined the board and since then I have been actively working toward helping to grow the organization.

This month, my board term comes to an end. And tomorrow I’ll be at along with my fellow board members to talk with others about volunteering opportunities with Soul Models.

In October, I launched the website for 🍻

Deciduous Brewing Company was born out of a love for craft beer and a desire to brew a wide range of styles with intention and without compromise. Their tasting room is the perfect spot to gather in any season—cozy up by the fire this time of year or enjoy a pint outdoors in their beer garden come summertime. A four-pack or a GC makes a great gift for the beer-loving folks in your life!

Last week, I launched the sweetest website for Heartwood Nature School.

Heartwood is dedicated to giving children an unmatched early childhood learning experience and creating a village of families who value nature immersion and play, community, environmental stewardship, and kindness and respect for all people.

They offer a nature-based, emergent curriculum for preschool and kindergarten, plus two after-school programs.

This has truly been one of my favorite projects to date. I feel so strongly that children (and adults) should be given the space to learn through play, and that our connection to nature at an early age would benefit everyone and everything around us.

Thank you to Katie Goodall for beautifully capturing the energy of this heart-centered school. You made my job so much easier.

If you have young children and live near West Newbury, MA—I highly recommend you check out Heartwood Nature School.

The Word Barn is one of my absolute favorite places to experience live music in the Seacoast. It’s an intimate gathering space where local and touring bands come to share their music and their stories—both indoors in the rustic barn and outdoors in the lush meadow.

We launched the new website back in February, with a focus on:
🔸Streamlining the buyer’s journey to more easily explore upcoming events and purchase tickets
🔸Highlighting the variety of events at the barn and meadow
🔸Uplifting the overall design to allow the website visitor to have a much clearer sense of the beauty this venue holds, a richness that is so apparent to all it’s in-person guests.

Take a peek at the website and grab tickets to an upcoming show!
