New students will have an opportunity to register in the fall at the back-to-school registration event. New Families with students who would be interested in attending Clearbrook-Gonvick next year are encouraged to contact the office to start the registration process this spring before summer break for planning purposes. Come Join the Parade
Vintage cars, tractors, floats, walkers, other creative entries (and even politicians) are welcome to join the parade in Gully on the 4th of July. The parade will begin at 10:30 am, with registration and lining up starting at 9:00. Prizes will be given.
Non-participants are invited to just come and watch!
Gully and Trail are jointly planning this 4th of July celebration due to it being our country’s 250 years of independence. Following the parade the celebration will resume in Trail.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is waiving vehicle permit fees at all 73 state parks and recreation areas. This Free Park Day is one of four days each year on which visitors don’t need a vehicle permit at state parks and recreation areas. The DNR offers one-free day in each season, giving Minnesotans an opportunity to experience the parks at different times of year.

Good news Doctor Bob Burgess of Gonvick who was helicoptered out to Fargo. He had 100% blockage of the LAD artery (or widowmaker) and after getting great treatment and 2 stents, he is doing much better. Thank goodness for all prayers for him
The wood ticks at out… If you find a tick, remove it immediately using fine-tipped tweezers. Grip it as close to the skin as possible and pull straight up without twisting. Clean the bite area with rubbing alcohol or soap and water, and monitor your symptoms for the next 30 days.
The 2028 NFL Draft is coming to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the NFL confirmed on Tuesday. The draft has evolved into one of the biggest annual events on the NFL calendar, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans to the draft and events around it. Wendy Blackshaw, president and CEO of Minnesota Sports & Events (MNSE), estimates that the draft will bring $100 to $200 million in economic impact.
Bonnie Stewart received the Fosston Service Award for her efforts in improving the arts culture in the town.
Cheryl Johnson of Roseau was found safe after a night in the Beltrami Island State Forest south of Warroad. She was spotted by helicopter.
Gene and Mary Scott will be celebrating her 50 years of marriage on Saturday, June 6 from 1 to 3 pm at the Lengby Community Center.
