Our thoughts and prayers go out to our Swat Family along with Shelby and Spencer Jr. When you do work with a company for so long….its no longer about just the work, it’s about the people. Mr. Spencer you will be missed by me and Denney and our Geaux signs family. This one hurts a lot!!! Hope you’re catching some big bass up there!! Rest easy until we meet again.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Spencer Moak — a leader, a friend, and a man who made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Spencer served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Specialty Welding and Turnarounds (SWAT), where his leadership, dedication, and commitment helped shape the company and the people within it. He joined SWAT in 2018, beginning his journey in California, where he quickly built meaningful relationships with coworkers, clients, and partners. Through his hard work, integrity, and genuine care for others, Spencer became not only a respected leader, but someone people trusted and admired.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Spencer’s greatest legacy was the impact he had on the lives of those around him. He was a friend, a son, a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He had a unique ability to connect with people, make them feel valued, and inspire those around him to be their best.

Throughout his career at SWAT, Spencer helped build a culture centered around relationships, teamwork, accountability, and taking care of one another. He believed in people and invested in their success. His leadership was not just measured by the work he accomplished, but by the lives he influenced along the way.

Spencer believed in taking action, not waiting for tomorrow for what could be accomplished today. He often emphasized that in his work, it is a “now business.” Customers rely on their teams to show up, take ownership, and make it happen. That same mindset carried through everything Spencer did. He was someone who led by example, took pride in his work, and encouraged those around him to rise to the occasion.

Spencer’s absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, coworkers, clients, and the entire SWAT family. While we mourn the loss of an incredible person, we are grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the lasting influence he leaves behind.

His legacy will continue through the people he mentored, the relationships he built, and the example he set every day.

Forever remembered. Forever missed.
