Dan McKeage, Jr. Tackling Double Duty at Wiscasset Speedway LLC in 2023

Dan McKeage Jr. had an impressive debut at Wiscasset Speedway in the Norm’s Used Cars Pro Stocks, capturing a top-five finish in last week’s season opener. He will be carrying the family torch in more ways than one this season, as he will also be competing in the Portland Glass Strictly Streets full-time. Why run for just one championship when you can shoot for two?

Dan joins a long list of Wiscasset standouts, drivers like Josh St. Clair, Ryan Ripley and Brett Osmond, who take advantage of the bi-weekly schedule to compete in multiple divisions at the speedway. He also previously competed and was a weekly standout in the Wildcats division at the now-defunct Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.

This season, Dan Jr. will be racing alongside a former Beech Ridge competitor and close friend, Wade Kennedy. This will be one of his allies as he tackles a new track with unfamiliar competitors. He hopes to gain speed, earn valuable seat time and pick up some wins in both divisions over the course of the season.

Group 2 Opening Day kicks off tomorrow, April 29th at 2:00 pm. Come cheer on the Naughty 40 Team as we fight for the championship in two divisions in 2023!
