Last day, last 2 trucks installed! It's been a great week here in Nappanee IN at PWI. I learned a little about this company but the big take away was how nice everyone was. This is a pretty cool little town. Hoping I get the opportunity to come back sometime.
It's time to head home. It's a 9 1/2 hour drive. GPS is saying I'll be home by 5:15 in the morning. Looks like we'll be pulling an all night drive. It's been a minute since the last time I did that. Until next time!

Knocked out the big boy today! When it comes to the wrap industry, who doesn't love flat panel, no rivet box trucks? Quick and clean!
4 days now at PWI and we continue to meet the nicest people. Everyone always asking if they can do anything for us. Offering us water and Gatorade, daily. What an amazing company and great people. We haven't ran into a person yet that has complained about working here. They all say they love working here. That says a lot for the owners and office people.

We're in Nappanee Indiana this week wrapping some box trucks. PWI has rebranded and they are changing out the wraps and graphics in their whole fleet. This week will just be box trucks. Every person that we have met so far has been the nicest person ever. I'm looking forward to learning more about this company this week.

Reached out to the old man and asked if he wanted to go on a week long work trip with me. Not that I needed the help but figured it wouldn't hurt to have an extra set of hands and that he would maybe want to get out of the house. He asked how far we would be from Indianapolis. I asked "Why?". Well, for those that don't know, he's a huge Caitlin Clark fan and he checked and saw that the Indiana Fever have a home game on Wednesday and he wants to go. So, we're loaded up and headed to Nappanee Indiana for the week. Looks like we'll be making the trip to Indianapolis to see Caitlin but we'll also be there to support Sophie Cunningham (MIZZOU Girl). It's going to be a long week.

Spent a couple of days at a business meeting for our industry. Wow! Learned a lot at the 2 day meeting and then Saturday night we did something special. The people putting on the meeting had reached out to about 6 different restaurants trying to find a place to accommodate, what was originally supposed to be about 50 people but ended up being about 60 people. Nobody had the space or was willing to help. They finally found a Mexican restaurant willing to take us. This was planned days in advance, maybe even a month. We wanted to do something special for them, so we all put cash together. We paid for the bill with cash and then tipped all the people that waited on us, cooked for us, everything, $1600 cash! We made their night but ours as well. How great that felt!!!
We now go back to our meeting place to listen to a guest speaker. Umm, ok, this guy was Amazing, Influential, and Inspirational! Maybe you've heard of him, Ben Newman? If you haven't, search him and go find out his story. This was all in the first day.
On day two, we got down to business again. Everybody feeling great and then we were asked about doing something special again. We had money still left over and they wanted nominations to donate the rest of the money. Once couple nominated friends of theirs that were going through a rough time with their 6 year old and cancer. He had been through many surgeries already. There was a Go Fund Me account set up for them to help with all the bills from the hospital. The account was trying to raise $12,000. It was currently up to $7200ish I believe. Let's make this short, by the time we were done donating the cash that we had left over and then people added more cash and reached out to others and then there was a private donation of another $3000 and the 3 guys that were putting on the class each donated $500/ea .....in the end we were able to get them up to, I believe it was $19000. Unreal the difference that we all made in someone's life, again! The amazing people that I have met in my industry are like no other. I don't know another industry that tries so hard to help people, not just in bad times but also tries to help each other grow and be successful. I've been very fortunate and lucky to have met some of the best people in the world and what's crazy is that we're all competitors but yet, friends and want success for all of us.
Now that these two days are done, it's time to get back to the grind and push even harder!

Got a call from a fellow wrap shop that needed some help. They asked us to wrap the base layer in matte gray. They will be going back over it with some gloss overlays. Should look amazing when it's all done. The matte gray already makes a huge difference from the plain old white.

This customer went to another shop originally and got the center of his hood wrapped in black. He liked it, or so he thought. He then decided he wanted to get a tuxedo wrap and was pointed in our direction. When here, we were discussing his tuxedo wrap and then I noticed his hood. I asked him if I could redo it. He asked "Redo it?". Yes, the brand that they used will turn brown in the right light and angle, they didn't round the corners the same on both sides and one side is longer than the other. He said he hadn't noticed it before but now it's bugging him. Me too, that's why I'd like to redo it and so that the black matches the black that we're going to use. You don't need to do that. I must!
It's amazing what a little black vinyl will do to a vehicle and change the whole appearance. This is a nice truck that looks even more badass than before!
I cannot deny nor confirm that this may be someone that works for the KC Chiefs but I really appreciate the gifts and even more, the stories!
Before you start guessing, no, it is not Patrick Mahomes truck.
