Each year I’ve had the honor of creating a board for little Miss Elsie’s birthday, and this by far my favorite that I’ve done! I wanted to keep painting flowers everywhere.
Off to Florida it buzzes tomorrow!! 🐝

Y’all!!
I LOVE when Momma’s give me full creative on birthday boards. There is NOTHING cookie cutter on what I do, and I feel like it makes it more special for the birthday kiddo. All hand painted, hand lettered, and handed over!
And this is another one heading to Louisiana! I feel like I need to visit this state since boards this yeat are heading that way. Road trip, anyone?! 🚗

This board was extra big special for me to create. 💙
On February 20th, this little boy came into this world bringing a new joy and love to his family. His Pappy loved him more than words can describe and it was something special to watch those two. So thankful I get to watch this boy grow up and that I get to see those blue, blue eyes like his Pappy had.

My Papa - otherwise known as Cotton - is my biggest inspiration and one of the greatest men to walk this earth. His very poor, humbling background gave him drive to achieve a life of love, character and service.
Why Southern? There is something magical about being from the South, and being a born and raised Texas woman. Growing up in Texas as the daughter and granddaughter of Texas high school football coaches (cue the movie “Remember the Titans”....I was that little girl), there is a spirit of tradition in the South that runs through my veins. Plus, I love some down-home cooking!
Why Legacy? My family has shown me what it means to live out a legacy of love and service. My other grandfather - Papa Jack - has liven out a legacy as a follower of Christ, and as taught our family and me through his dedication how to live a life not of our own. It’s a legacy I hope I can carry on.
Why Creative? That’s what I am! I’m an event planner by trade, doodler of life, and an arts-n-craft supply collector by accident. I love events, I love lettering, so why not combine what I love doing into doing whatever the heck I want to create?!
