This momma has been strugglin' with the jugglin', 🎪 but she is well! And thankful! And still Electric Magnolia'n. And Festival'n.

((Shout out to all you people out there juggling all the hats we wear. And special love to all the mommas managing to raise their people, work, AND keep up with their house. Mais la!))

I have so many dreams I am chasing in the mix of the crazy. But I'm having some chats with myself about focusing on the now, taking time to enjoy the now, taking my time to get where I'm going with those dreams, AND really just staying inspired by these goals too. Keeps me truckin'!

Hello, hello! 👋 With a recent need for an updated headshot, I thought it'd be a good time to share an update in general. Our Festival International season was great and I'm just about recovered.

Electric Magnolia is still alive and well, though I am taking a social media hiatus at this time to enjoy the summer with my littles. I am also taking this time to think about my goals moving forward, and ideally looking into grants and opportunities to create content surrounding my passion for culture and travel. (Ideas and collabs welcomed!)

As much as I adore having my little one around for creative endeavors, sometimes we just have to accept that it is HARD to juggle and we should ask for some help.

Earlier this year, I was selected as a 2023 Get Ready Grant recipient by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge / CERFplus and I was able to do just that. My grant was utilized to help me bring in a caregiver for my busiest month of work, during music festival season, so I could be my best self - as a professional and as a mother.
⚡ ⚡ ⚡
These organizations provide relief for artists in a variety of amazing ways, and I am very thankful for the support I was given when I needed it! I will share more about this in an upcoming video. Stay tuned, and Happy Friday.
