๐ฅ Never Thought Iโd See This Day ๐ฅ
Today I pulled on a size 38 pair of jeans โ with room to spare โ and a size large shirt for the first time since freshman year of high school.
That might not seem like much to some, but to me, it means everything. Itโs not just about fitting into smaller clothes โ itโs about finally feeling comfortable in my own skin again. Itโs a reminder of how far Iโve come โ not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
๐ This is what being sober and making better choices looks and feels like. ๐ช
Every craving fought, every late-night walk instead of another drink, every single day I chose to show up for myself and my family โ it all added up.
And honestly, this Outdoor Dad Playbook community has played a bigger role in that than I ever expected. In a sense, itโs kept me accountable โ because when you start sharing your story, your growth, and your struggles out loudโฆ it kinda feels like the whole world is watching ๐
That pressure turned into motivation, and that motivation turned into change.
Itโs not about perfection โ itโs about progress, consistency, and hope. Iโm finally starting to see the person I was always meant to be again, one good decision at a time. ๐
๐ And โ as you can see, I got some merch now! Big shoutout to Wayward Island Graphics & Signs by Eric Way for the awesome shirts and stickers! He always does great work and absolutely nailed it. โค๏ธ
